Why we built DP Tech Studio
In 2024, after working closely with small restaurant owners in Surat and Ahmedabad, we kept seeing the same pain: orders lost on paper, no visibility into daily revenue, and staff coordination happening entirely over WhatsApp.
Most existing software was either too expensive, required dedicated hardware, or was built for large chains — not for the independent restaurant owner running 5–15 tables.
We started building DP Tech Studio to change that — a web-based platform that works on any device, takes under a day to set up, and gives restaurant owners real control over their operations from day one.

How we got here
Problem discovery
Spent 3 months interviewing independent restaurant owners in Surat to map the exact gaps in their day-to-day operations.
First prototype
Built a working prototype covering orders, tables, and a basic menu manager. Tested with 2 local restaurants.
Private beta
Onboarded 5 pilot restaurants. Collected feedback daily and shipped fixes in real time — over 80 iterations in 3 months.
Beta expansion
Expanded to 10+ pilots across Surat and Ahmedabad. Added banners, offers, catering requests, and the gallery module.
Public launch
Opening DP Tech Studio to all restaurants. Launching pricing plans and onboarding support for new customers.
What's next
KDS integration, multi-outlet dashboard, delivery aggregator sync, and demand-based menu suggestions.
